Neodymium iron boron, also known as NdFeB magnet (NdFeB magnet) is a tetracrystal formed by neodymium, iron, boron (Nd2Fe14B).
Neodymium magnets were discovered in 1982 by Masato Sagawa of Sumitomo Special Metals in Japan.
The BHmax of this magnet was greater than the BHmax of a samarium cobalt magnet, the largest mass in the world at that time.
