What documents are required for magnet transportation?

NdFeB permanent magnet materials are widely used in various fields due to their high energy density, high coercivity and good magnetic properties. As an important rare earth magnetic material, the transportation safety of NdFeB has attracted much attention. According to international transportation regulations, NdFeB permanent magnet materials belongs to dangerous goods and require the preparation of corresponding Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).

 

 

Below is the documents required for different transportation methods:

1.Air transportation and express delivery are suitable for weight below 100KG:

1)Magnetic isolation packaging is required, like below picture:

2)Magnetic inspection is required for each shipment, and the logistics company do the inspection based on each shipment, like below:

3) Some airlines need to provide an air transport identification certificate.

 

 

Sea and rail transportation are suitable for weight more then 100KG:

1)Sea transport identification certificate

2)MSDS
